Summary:
A case report of a 68-year-old woman who experienced depersonalization/derealization solely due to a temporal lobe tumour. The symptoms improved with steroids but returned with tumour growth. This is the first reported case of these symptoms occurring in isolation from a brain lesion, without seizures or other psychiatric symptoms.
The case provides valuable insights into how these specific brain regions may be involved in producing depersonalization and derealization experiences.
